The 1st face to face meeting was organized by 5th Gymnasium Of Trikala the period 19/09/22 – 24/09/2022. The main objective of the program is the environmental awareness of the students with an emphasis on the scientific field STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
In order to achieve the above goals, various workshops and activities were organized during the students’ and teachers’ visit. The topics of the workshops were on the subject of traffic lights on the web, smart irrigation systems and rotating solar panels using Arduino. The participants in the ERASMUS program had the opportunity to learn about the “smart bins” application developed by EPAL of Kalambaka. Also, the students and teachers were informed by the Municipality of Trikkaia about the innovative programs that have been developed in this field.
The activities were organized and prepared by the Greek school with SAPLLE’s guidance.
